Zusammenfassung

Hayden Chisholm is one of the worlds most renowed saxophonists in the field of microtonality. His work with Nils Wogram's Root 70 and many of his own projects have influenced a huge number of younger Jazzmusicians to deal with microtonality in a systematic way.

In this interview Hayden talks about his musical influences, how he started dealing with microtonality, how to use microtones in improvisation / composition and how microtones can easily be derived from the overtone series.

German subtiles are provided as an extra material.
